tattoos, The FBI, and a limo

I ought to tell you about my friend, Kara, and her romantic escape to Seattle.
You probably saw this on the news...the situation in Seattle where Israeli people were killed by a Muslim man and the streets were closed around the area...(can you even believe that?) Well, Kara was on the balcony of her hotel watching all of this, and saw the FBI encircle the building across the street. She saw all of this drama unfold, and watched the live version on the news, while looking out her window to verify the images.
Well, dinnertime was approaching, and she was concerned that the limo wouldn't be about to collect them on time due to the street closures.( I am not-a-little impressed hat she could think of food at a time like this. Here is a woman who frequently forgets to eat. She can't weigh more than 116 lbs. soaking wet).
This is a true story!
So, she got on the phone with the chauffeur and was able to direct him to a nearby street from her vantage point above the action. They made it to dinner on time. Whew!
Now, the tattoos came into the story the night prior to these events. Kara is hardly the type you would expect to find in a tattoo parlor! However, she had a lovely chat with the proprietor while he adorned her husband. As luck would have it, the owner's wife and infant son arrived whilst they were thus occupied, so Kara had the privilege of adoring a brand new baby!
So, you might say that one was adorned while the other adored. tee hee!
They are home safely after their West Coast Adventure.
