I want to know how you feel about Anna Nicole, and that poor baby daughter of hers.
I know all about her life and death and daughter in spite of the fact that the only TV I ever see is at the gym. (And we all know how often I go there, don't we?) I have learned all about Anna Nicole while standing in line at the Market, and while logging on to my computer. Just think about how smart I could be if, say, Quantum Physics were all there was to read in line at the grocery store.
Why, exactly, is this woman famous?
She dyed her hair blond/ I dye my hair blonde.
She's had two babies/I have had two babies.
She removes her clothes frequently/ I do too! (Every time I shower, which is sometimes daily!)
She is dead/ I am alive, (so I think I am ahead in this department).
It's baffling to me, seriously.
She has this life that is tragically grotesque. I am so sad to think of it, if you want to know the truth. Her life was a mess, her mother is a mess, her son was a mess. What will she be remembered as? A freak show. Ouch. It's true, though.
I wonder what she wanted to be when she grew up?
God's design for a Woman is a noble thing; and beautiful and strong and purposeful.
Apparently, poor examples will make the headlines. The good examples just don't make the news.
But then, a good woman can reach her world without the help of the media.
The greatest women always have.

I feel so sad when I think about Anna Nicole. She made some very foolish decisions in her life that will also effect her innocent little daughter, but regardless of how foolish someone is, she never deserves to be treated the way Anna Nicole was. Much of her life she chose, but she made those choices out of an already very damaged life and I don't know that I would have been able to do differently if I had been in her situation. So I feel compassion for her and I pray that her daughter will be allowed to grow up anonymous, and in a safe home.
Her story sure makes me thankful for the close and loving family I grew up in.
Come on, everyone, Group hug!
I do not know, drop the dead part of the comparison, and you could insert Britney Spears into the argument!
You do not have the desire to shave your head, do you?
Ha, ha.
Interesting post though. I have not though to compare myself to those in the spotlight - well maybe John Wayne or Hop A Long Cassidy....
:^)
