Consider the Lilies

"Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear, little flock, for it is your
Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom!” (Luke 12:32).

Of course, Jeremiah 42:22 says, "So now, be sure of this: you will die by the sword, famine and plague in the place where you want to go settle."

Sometimes, You have got to wonder.

Today has been a long day. I am very tired on account of not actually sleeping last night. I managed maybe 4 hours.
My mother wrote a paper in college that talked of the effects of stress upon people. There's lots, as I recall. It's all-in-all a very unhealthy thing, stress. Perhaps that is why the Bible tells us to "be anxious for nothing." Plus, anxiety is so very counterproductive. Last night, for example, with my lack of sleep; I was all worried and freaking out. Anxiety makes matters worse. And yet, I can't seem to turn it off.
Stress can kill you, you know. Try not to worry about that.
I always tend to think that money would eliminate most worries. One glance at the tabloids proves that wrong.
The only remedy, it seems, is total trust. God Almighty, The Maker of Heaven and Earth, holds me close. He is All Powerful and stuff. That's what I forget so often.
My entire life is really screwy when you look at it without the benefit of an eternal perspective. Someone was doing that earlier today. I think his final verdict was that I have been very lazy for a long time, and I ought to start to live a normal life like everybody else.

No news today. I am praying and waiting and looking at my options....

"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and He will set your path straight..."

Of course that is His path, not our path.

Testing is what builds within us the character and strength of faith He desires of us.

"Normal" is generally not good, from what I see. And lazy, compared to what?

Peace to you Sis, rest in Him.

I'll be praying for you, be sure.

I found scripture for you as I was praying for you this morning, Psalm 116.

Take heart my dear friend. You are greatly loved!
