The river, and also Tim

Dating is radically incompatible with real life.
I need to focus on this man, so I need a housekeeper, gardener, and cook. My kids need a tutor, and a chauffeur. Plus, I could use a secretary. As it is, I am walking thru my days with a grin on my face, and a growing list of things I am not getting done.
We went down the river last night. if you've been reading for long, you know that my friends and I do that in the Summers. It's a rafting experience that we all love. Last night we brought Tim along. That's his name, by the way. Isn't it a glorious name?
We floated the Boise River at night, and Kara was freezing. Kara is always freezing, and we should have taken that into consideration before agreeing to float the river at sunset. She and Lisa cuddled in an attempt to keep warm, and Tim and I "oar-ed." Tim's daughter was our navigator.
Lisa is a tad squeamish regarding Tim and I. She says that it's like we're kissing cousins since he's like one of the family. We've all been in this housechurch for the longest time. Tim has been among us for a year and a half. He's the handsome cheesecake maker that I've mentioned before. So, she's having to adjust to seeing us sit together rather than across the room from each other.
I keep bringing the conversation back to him, huh? Yep, I'm likely to do that for a while. I hope you don't mind so much.

Charles and I both have a (distant) relative in common (on Grandma Jennie's side) so does that make us kissing cousins?

Um, I actually have kissing cousins. They got married. It sounds extrememly creepy, but they love each other so much - it's a good thing.

But I know how akward it can be to make that transition from seeing people as friends to seeing them as more...
