The thrill of anticipation

As I reflect upon the day, I find that there are so many things that happened, and even more things that have been the focus of my thoughts. It's hard to figure out what I ought to write about.
-I had a meeting this morning of no small importance regarding the progress of Don in his drug treatment program. He is amazing, by-the-way.
-I heard from Michael, who has decided to pursue bull riding. This is less alarming that you might think. Although he risks impalement or violent crushing, I do think that he'd like the sport a lot. You know, as long as he can stay alive.
-Faline and Aaron had an uneventful day involving the pool and chores. Love that. No one was on drugs or incarcerated, so I feel like we succeeded to some extent.
-I painted KILZ all over the master bathroom, in preparation for a lovely pale blue color. This is a certain improvement over the mustard yellow we had. I had to paint the ceiling, too, which is a horrible thing to have to do.
-A dear lifelong friend announced her intention to enter the holy covenant of matrimony, which set me to thinking about how important those vows are. This could occupy my musings to stunning extent. However, I am going to wait and marinate in these events of the day. I'll write in the morning to see what rises to the forefront.
I am giddy with anticipation. You?
