Plop, plop, fizz, fizz

....Oh what a relief it is. Can we all just sigh a little at the announcement that my missing son has been apprehended? He is safe at last. Never mind that my two eldest are both in jail. I am not one to complain, given the alternatives.

It all happened on Friday afternoon....I had a wedding to attend on Friday evening, and so I was in no way prepared to get all emotional and ruin my makeup.
This was not an ordinary wedding, either. It was Nigerian. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that Star, Idaho does not see a great many Nigerian weddings.

I was late to the wedding, due to the excitement of my sweet child's arrest, and his subsequent incarceration. However, my entire evening was vastly improved by the weight lifted off my mind from this development. Knowing that Don was safe, I was able to throw myself into the weekend's festivities with a lightened countenance and a cheerful disposition.

They had a traditional American ceremony on Saturday, so we were really Forced to celebrate all weekend.

I really had no time to worry about either one of my errant youths, so it was nice to have a parenthetical reprieve. Tomorrow, I will be jumping back in to their drama. We have a court date which will set the stage for whatever steps come next for Don.
