lies and truth

Hey, good news!
I won the lottery, and am now grotesquely wealthy.
I lost 20 pounds and can comfortably wear a size 4.
The diamond on my left hand is too heavy to lift.
My children have insisted upon doing all the cooking and cleaning from now on.
And my foot is miraculously healed.
I'm lying.
I know, I know. I have been dreadfully remiss in my blogging. Do you hate me for it?
I have nothing funny to say.
My house is cluttered, my thank you notes aren't out, I should really get some shopping done, and I hate my pinky-toe.
So, really, there's nothing new here.
How have you been?

You are grotesquely wealthy, you're the daughter of a king. You do not need to lose 20 pounds, you are perfect as you are & You will be getting a diamond in a few days.
About the kids and toe, I can't help you there.
paj
ps you send out thank you notes?

I've been sick. On the couch for two days.

Feeling a little better tonight though, so maybe I can get something done.

Oh - and I'm with paj on the losing 20 pounds bit. Forget it. You're lovely.

Hmmmm, a verse seems to be swimming around in my mind... something about being content in what ever place (or circumstance) you find yourself... Hmmmm might be something to that one...hmmmm.

I agree with paj - you are a princess, practically perfect in every way, and honestly who needs a diamond (they are sort of over hyped anyway!)? As for humor, you could always paint your toes different colors - with Mr. Yuck faces...

Yes, this is a perfect time for the boys to clean and cook for you! Crack that whip! Let them long for healthy momma!

Of course you could take up reading my favorite author (Tony Hillerman - though only his Navajo series) or James.
